How much is shipping?
All packages are sent via tracked satchels with Australia Post.
Australian orders over $130 receive free standard shipping. This will automatically apply at checkout.
Standard shipping has a flat rate of $10.75 across Australia.
Express shipping can be selected for a flat rate of $15.95 Australia-wide.
Free Local Delivery is available for those living within 10km from Rowville, Victoria. If Local Delivery is selected, you will be contacted when your order is complete and when your package has been delivered to a safe place.
International shipping is available to New Zealand, the UK and Ireland! Shipping starts at $18 depending on country. Please use the shipping calculator at checkout to check your country.
Can I return or exchange an item?
At Loudon Street, we carefully check each item before sending it out to you. However, if you believe an item has arrived in a faulty condition, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@loudonstreet.com with your order number and photos of the fault/s so we can assist. We may ask for the item to be returned and offer a refund, exchange or replacement where we deem appropriate.
We ask that customers carefully choose items as we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, or for items such as seconds where a fault has been disclosed and the item priced accordingly.
Sizing
If an exchange is requested for an incorrectly selected size, we will do our best to assist you, however some items are very limited and requests may not be able to be accommodated. The customer is responsible for returning the product in new condition and for covering the postage of the replacement item.
We respectfully ask that all return and exchange requests be made within two weeks of receipt of your items.
Loudon Street reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if items have been worn or we believe they are no longer in original condition.
Why do you use only 100% natural fibres?
At Loudon Street, we believe that what we put on our children’s skin matters. That’s why we are committed to using 100% natural fibres like cotton and linen—breathable, soft, and gentle on
sensitive skin.
Unlike synthetic fabrics, natural fibres allow air to circulate, keeping little ones cool in summer and warm in winter. They also come without the environmental downsides of polyester and other
synthetics, which shed microplastics into our waterways and contribute to landfill waste.
We know that natural fibres need a little extra love when washing, but caring for them properly means they’ll last longer—so please check your care labels and enjoy clothing that stays beautiful wash after wash.

Tell me about more about your range!
Our lovely range of childrenswear brings you timeless garments but with the safety and convenience of zips and snap closures instead of the traditional buttons which can loosen over time and be fiddly to use. We use 100% cotton fabrics with sensitive skin in mind, as well as avoiding the environmental impacts of polyester and other manmade fabrics.
Our range is lovingly handmade, and we work hard to be as affordable as possible whilst being ethically produced. We make only small quantities in order to be more sustainable – less waste in production, smaller carbon footprint when shipping, and avoiding overproduction and waste at the consumer end. This also means that as a customer, you know that your purchase is limited edition!
With our packaging, we are always looking at ways to be more environmentally minded. Currently we wrap our garments in brown paper and use partly recycled Australia Post satchels for posting.
Where are your items made?
We are incredibly proud to say that our garments are all handmade in Brisbane, Australia, by a talented mother-daughter seamstress team. We work closely together on patterns, fabrics, design choices, and samples, ensuring that each piece meets our high standards of quality, comfort, and sustainability.
Committing to making Loudon Street a 100% Australian handmade business has been a huge goal for me. It allows me to support other Australian businesses, ensure even more quality control, ethical production, and sustainability—all while creating timeless pieces that parents can feel good about dressing their little ones in.
Why choose slow fashion?
Fast fashion creates mountains of textile waste, much of which ends up in landfill or polluting our oceans. At Loudon Street, I’m committed to doing things differently.
– Small-batch production – I only produce what’s needed, avoiding excess stock and unnecessary waste.
– Sustainable packaging – my garments are carefully wrapped in tissue paper or brown paper before being shipped in either compostable or recycled mailers—because packaging should be just as thoughtful as the clothing inside.
– Low-impact shipping – smaller production runs mean fewer resources are used in manufacturing and transportation, helping me reduce my carbon footprint.
